Color Trend: Throwing Shades
Today’s fashion and latest shades of colors are no guarantee to looking beautiful until you identify the colors that look best with your skin tone. Your skin undertone is referring to the color that is right beneath your skin. The best way to determine the skin tone is to flip over the arm and look at the veins. Skin tones vary from warm (green/yellowish veins) and cool (blue/purplish veins), and there are some people who have a neutral skin tone that works well with both warm and cool tones.
It’s a funny old world—the fashion world. Why is it you wear the same colors when you go out? Why is it you feel that a certain color is not ideally suited to your complexion even though it is in fashion? Well now is the time to change all that. Today’s fashionable colors are just oozing to expel your beauty within. Do not miss out on the many shades of pantone colors like those that were shown during New York Fashion Week—buttercup, fiesta, green flash, iced coffee, lilac grey, peach echo—the list goes on and is worthy to be explored.
For example if you are partial to the color orange or range up next to your skin tone, well that is fine. But at the time you decided this color was not for you, did you ever give it a thought that it was just that particular shade of orange that you were not comfortable with. Remember there are over 60 shades of orange, now do you get my drift. It is sad, but there are many women who are confused and believe that a certain color does them no justice when at the end of the day it may have been their choice in the shade.
A smile radiates beauty so regardless of what the fashion it is you adorn—be sure to smile and that is half of the battle won in feeling good, looking beautiful and making your self-confidence soar.
